PlusOne Solutions Privacy Policy for 2009

Consumers have the right to expect that their personal information be protected. At PlusOne Solutions we understand the sensitive nature of gathering personal information and have established safeguards to ensure that your privacy rights are never violated.
This policy covers personal, identifiable information that will be provided to PlusOne Solutions such as Consumer Report data, Professional and Business Licenses, Certifications, Insurances; and any other information about a customer’s current or former relationship with PlusOne Solutions or our Clients.

PROTECTING INFORMATION ABOUT YOU FROM OUTSIDE MARKETERS

PlusOne Solutions does not sell or share any Customer Information with marketers outside PlusOne Solutions who may want to offer you their own products and services. No action on your part is necessary for this benefit. In the event a service is identified that may interest a PlusOne Solutions’ Customer, you will be notified of the service through various means including a PlusOne Solutions e-mail or via our web-site. Upon receipt of an authorized consent, (electronic or written), the information you authorize will be released. In some cases, information will only be released with a signed written consent such as information maintained in PlusOne Solutions’ Screening Solutions.

MAKING THE SECURITY OF INFORMATION A PRIORITY

Keeping personal and professional information secure is one of our most important responsibilities. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect Customer Information. Only selected employees are authorized to access Customer Information for business purposes only. All of our employees are bound by a code of ethics that requires confidential treatment of Customer Information and are subject to disciplinary action if they fail to follow this code.

PlusOne Solutions only maintains Customer Information such as Social Security Numbers, Driver’s License Numbers, Full Birthdates or other potential critical customer identifying information in our databases if required, and only in encrypted form. PlusOne Solutions may maintain some documents containing the above information as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or Federal Trade Commission retention policies. In this event, all forms are maintained in a secure environment and only authorized personnel are granted access while other forms are immediately destroyed once the information is successfully transferred to the Consumer Reporting Agency designated to complete your Consumer Report as part of the Screening Solution.

COLLECTING INFORMATION

We collect and use various types of information to service your accounts, save you time and money, better respond to your needs, and manage our business and risks.

Customer Information is categorized in the following five ways:
Application Information — information that you provide to us on applications and through other means. Examples include your name, address, phone number, e-mail, etc.
Consumer Report Information — information from a consumer report. Examples include your Driving History, Criminal and Civil Convictions, etc.
Professional Information — information you provide or that is provided by outside sources such as Professional and Business Licenses, Certifications, Insurances, etc. required in the performance of your services by regulation, your customers or PlusOne Solutions’ Clients.
Transaction and Experience Information — information about your transactions and account experience, as well as information about our communications with you. Examples include your payment history, credit card usage, and your inquiries and our responses.
Other General Information — information from outside sources, such as data from public records, that is not assembled or used for the purpose of determining your eligibility for a product or service.

MANAGING INFORMATION

We manage how and when information is shared with companies that work for us, companies you provide services for, and in other situations.

Managing information with companies that work for us
We may share any of the five categories of Customer Information outlined in this policy with companies that work for us, including companies located outside the United States. All companies that act on our behalf are contractually obligated to keep the information we provide to them confidential and to use the Customer Information we share only to provide the services we ask them to perform for you and us. These companies may include financial service providers such as payment processing companies and non-financial companies such as data processing companies. These companies might assist us, for example, in processing your transactions, and fulfilling your service requests. We may share any of the five categories of customer information with companies that work for us in order to provide Screening Solutions support.

Companies you provide services for
With your consent (electronic or written), we may share any of the five categories or Customer Information with our Clients who you select to provide services for and require the summary information.

Disclosing information in other situations
We also may disclose any of the five categories of customer information to credit bureaus and similar organizations and when required or permitted by law. For example, Customer Information may be disclosed in connection with a subpoena or similar legal process, fraud prevention or investigation, risk management, Homeland Security or the USA Patriot Act. We also may share any of the five categories of Customer Information outside PlusOne Solutions if we have your consent. You may have other privacy protections under state laws. We will comply with applicable state laws with regard to our information practices.

MAKING SURE INFORMATION IS ACCURATE

Keeping your account information accurate and up to date is very important. You have access to your account information through various means, such as our web-site and in response to specific requests. If your account information is incomplete, inaccurate or not current, please call or write to us at the telephone number or address listed on our web-site. We will promptly update or correct any erroneous information. Please contact us if you have questions or feel that we have not handled information about you properly.

PROVIDING CONSENT OR INFORMATION TO PLUSONE SOLUTIONS

You have choices when it comes to how PlusOne Solutions shares and uses information. You may request that PlusOne Solutions share or not share information about you and the requests and consents may come through any or all of the following methods of communication: fax, mail, e-mail or telephone.

If any of these pieces of information change, please notify us to ensure that your preferences are consistently honored. Each customer may tell us their preferences individually, or you may tell us the preferences for any other customers who are joint account owners with you. Once you have told us your preferences, we will continue to honor them. You do not need to take any further action.

COOKIES AND INFORMATION GATHERED VIA OUR WEBSITE

PlusOne Solutions employs cookies in order for its server to recognize a return visitor as a unique user. Cookies are small text files placed in the 'Cookies' folder on a visitor's hard disk and allow for PlusOne Solutions to remember the visitor. The cookies placed by the PlusOne Solutions server are readable only by PlusOne Solutions, and cookies cannot access, read or modify any other data on a computer. All web-browsers offer the option to refuse any cookie, and if a visitor refuses the PlusOne Solutions cookie then ClickSoftware does not gather any information on that visitor.

The PlusOne Solutions system will gather information such as what kind of browser a visitor is on, what operating system they are using, their IP address, and their clickstream information (for example, which pages they have viewed and how long they have been there). Note that information is only gathered while the visitor is on the website in question -- in this case www.plusonesolutions.net. PlusOne Solutions monitors how a visitor arrives at the website, but cannot and will not gather information about other sites the visitor has been on. At times, PlusOne Solutions may ask for more specific contact information to be entered as a means of registration before accessing a certain part of the site. PlusOne Solutions uses this information to understand its visitors and, with permission, to provide visitors with updates on the company and its products. A visitor may always option to not enter any information about themselves.

PlusOne Solutions collects identifying information when you use certain PlusOne Solutions products or services, when you visit PlusOne Solutions web pages or microsite web pages. PlusOne Solutions also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, time stamp (time page accessed as well as time spent per web page), as well as the specific pages you requested. The only time PlusOne Solutions, its partners, subsidiaries, agents, officers or employees would provide specific information to anyone is if required to do so by law, and even then only to the proper authorities.

Keeping up to date with our Privacy Policy

PlusOne Solutions will provide notice of our Privacy Policy annually, as long as you maintain an ongoing relationship with us.
